The Nomcebo Zikode Foundation, together with Vodacom, has teamed up to assist learners from Lungisa high school (KwaDwesi) and Ndzondelelo high school (Zwide) with sanitary pads and other resources for female learners. Starting the day off bright and early at Vodacom's Gqeberha Newton Park offices, Nomcebo and co. were welcomed warmly by Mninawa Peter from Vodacom, and he shared the whole schedule ahead of them in the city. Aside from assisting these selected schools, they would also be visiting one of the local old-age homes in Zwide to deliver food packs and other essentials to the elderly.

"The Nomcebo Zikode Foundation exists to give kids from underprivileged backgrounds dignity. We are doing this by providing them with school uniforms, school shoes, and sanitary pads. The foundation also assists those affected by gender-based violence, through direct interventions on the ground", explained Nomcebo at the Vodacom HQ. The internationally renowned artist behind hits such as "Xola Moya Wam'" and "Njabulo" also mentioned a free performance at the Ziyabuya shopping complex, on Friday the 8th of April.

"This is my first time in Gqeberha. So far, I love the city as it reminds me of one of the places I visited in Miami. There is very little traffic here, but the weather is extremely cold", concluded Nomcebo.
