In line with commemoration of Women’s month, McDonald’s Beach Road invited women on the 13th of August 2022 to their restaurant to engage with one another, build valuable connections and to teach them a bit more about the daily operations at the restaurant.

Phenomenal women from different organisations gathered during breakfast to interact and learn about McDonald’s.The team spoke about important topics, like the importance of making sure that they give their guests more than just good food but an enjoyable and stress-free experience with their Self Ordering Kiosk machine (SOK), how they ensure customer satisfaction by giving transparent information and having friendly staff.

Mr Bulelani who is a Field Service’s Consultant (Franchising), talked about the importance of food safety and utilizing clean equipment when making meals.

General manager of Gqeberha Ms Sibongile said for their youth development they partnered with JobJack, an online platform for entry level jobs that connects them with jobseekers as they need more people to work at the restaurant.

On the 16th of August McDonald’s will be hosting a webinar about mental health, tackling issues like how to maintain a positive mental health and treating any mental health condition.
