The Konvenient Magazine, a digital publication that celebrates SMEs nationwide, was founded by Xola Speelman in July 2019. As a bachelor, Xola does his own laundry, but he also has the option to take it to the nearest laundry shop. When it comes to cooking, Xola enjoys cooking for himself, but if his girlfriend is around, they cook together. Xola spends most of his time out of office sourcing new clients and taking time to rest. While he recognizes the importance of taking care of his health, he struggles with consistency in exercising and eating well. "I enjoy being involved in initiatives that empower young people, particularly coaching young boys to be better men". Although he doesn't have a favorite restaurant in the city, he enjoys trying out new places that offer unique menus and services. Mr Speelman believes taking time off work is crucial to delivering high-quality work and avoiding mediocrity. He is currently reading a few books, including "Connecting The Dots," "The Monk That Sold His Ferrari," and "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck."

Q: Can you tell us more about Konvenient Magazine and its mission?

A: Konvenient Magazine is a digital publication that recognizes and celebrates SMEs nationwide, including medium and well-established businesses. Our mission is to promote and support these businesses while providing a platform for them to showcase their products and services to a wider audience. We believe that SMEs are the backbone of our economy and deserve recognition for their contributions.

Q: What do you enjoy most about coaching young boys?

A: I enjoy being able to make a positive impact on young people's lives. Coaching young boys to be better men is particularly rewarding because it allows me to help shape the next generation of leaders. Seeing them grow and develop into confident, responsible, and respectful young men is fulfilling.

Q: How do you balance work and rest?

A: I prioritize rest and believe that it's crucial to delivering high-quality work. I make sure to take breaks throughout the day and to rest as much as possible during my off hours. I also try to disconnect from work-related activities during my downtime to give my mind a break and recharge.

Q: Can you recommend any books that have inspired you in your career?

A: "Connecting The Dots," "The Monk That Sold His Ferrari," and "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck" are all books that have inspired me in different ways. They offer valuable insights on personal growth, mindfulness, and productivity, which are all essential to achieving success in one's career and personal life.
