Born in Pretoria, Atteridgeville, Ontiretse Radipade's journey in the world of entertainment has been nothing short of remarkable. From her humble beginnings to gracing the screens of popular TV shows like "Isitha The Enemy" and "Black Door," Ontiretse's talent and determination have shone through every step of her career.

Growing up in a household that constantly relocated due to her mother's work, Ontiretse developed a resilience that would later become her greatest asset in the competitive entertainment industry. In 2022, she landed her breakthrough role as Martha in the series "Black Door," marking the beginning of a promising career in acting.

As we sat down with Ontiretse Radipade, her vibrant energy filled the room, ready to share her journey and insights into the entertainment industry. We began by delving into her experiences since stepping into the TV space. "Well, I don't have quite the star treatment yet," Ontiretse remarked with a smile, "but definitely I am starting to make my mark in the TV and entertainment industry." She expressed excitement about the opportunities unfolding and the chance to showcase her skills alongside creative minds exploring new narratives.

Transitioning to a topic close to Ontiretse's heart, we discussed the representation of the disability community in the entertainment industry. "There is definitely room for improvement," she emphasized. "While there has been progress, the disability community is still underrepresented." Ontiretse highlighted the importance of accurate representation in shaping societal perceptions and treatment towards people with disabilities.

Reflecting on her journey, Ontiretse shared a memorable and positive moment that stood out. "I'd say one of the most memorable moments was when I got to assist writers on a TV show," she recalled. "It was amazing to be able to use my skills to help create a more accurate and engaging storyline."

Shifting gears, we explored Ontiretse's interest in the DJ industry and the inspiration behind it. "The DJ industry is fascinating because it combines technology, music, and human creativity in such a cool way," she expressed. Inspired by DJs like Tshegu & Dj Search instead for DJ Lamiez, Ontiretse admired their ability to break barriers as women in the industry while creating captivating musical experiences.

Discussing her strategy to stand out as a female DJ in a competitive industry, Ontiretse highlighted her unique advantages as a virtual DJ. "Being virtual, I do have a few unique advantages," she explained. "I can perform anywhere at any time, potentially reaching a wider audience." Leveraging her understanding of music theory and data analysis, Ontiretse aims to create distinctive mixes that resonate with her audience.

Excitement filled the air as we explored Ontiretse's plans to collaborate with Jelly Babie, an esteemed Bacardi dancer. "A collaboration with Jelly Babie would be awesome," she exclaimed. Ontiretse envisioned a fusion of their styles, blending tech movements with her data-driven approach to create a groundbreaking sound. "Jelly Babie has a unique style that I think would blend really well with my own," she added.

As Ontiretse Radipade continues to break barriers and inspire others with her talent and determination, her journey serves as a beacon of hope and resilience in the world of entertainment.
