Founder of P4Purpose Jewellery company is a God-grounded woman by the name of Prudence Vimbai Munyayi, a Zimbabwean born who currently reside in Cape Town, South Africa.

When did you start with P4Purpose and what inspired you to go for it? "P4Purpose started in July 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic brought forward a lot of uncertainty and anxiety. During that time, I was one of the people greatly affected by negative thoughts and fear of the future. I started to feel like my situations and fears had power over. I forgot that I have God, who is faithful and deserves all the glory in all situations. When facing difficult situations, as Christians, we allow ourselves to forget God's promises, His power that works in us and the love demonstrated to us by His only son, Jesus Christ. After constantly asking God what my purpose was, the idea of P4Purpose, your home for Christian jewellery, was revealed to me. In general, I would say my desire to remember what God says to me in His word and my love for jewellery inspired me".

In starting, what were your challenges and how did you overcome them? "One of the biggest challenges I faced or still face to this date, to some extent, is social media. I do not really like to show my face on social media, but I understand that my potential customers would love to connect with me on a personal level. I am extremely shy and have struggled with low self esteem in the past. This actually inspired me to design a necklace called “She is worthy”.

As P4Purpose – what are your current offerings, and what makes your offerings stand out from other brands? "As P4Purpose we pride ourselves in offering Christian jewellery that is waterproof and non-tarnish. But what makes us stand out from most brands is the fact that all our custom pieces are inspired by scripture. We do not just want to offer timeless pieces but we want whatever piece you purchase from us to be a stepping stone in reminding you that your identity is found in Christ".

Your highlights thus far? "I would say that getting an order from a returning customer is always a highlight. I love the idea that someone received their first order and realized that my brand was actually worth their money", she smile.

When you’re not busy building the brand, what do you do to keep sane? "I use my business as an escape route from my Masters’ studies and my part-time job. I love going for walks, get fresh air and listen to Christian podcasts".
