Meet the incredible and amazing Dineo Molokoane, an author, entrepreneur and business mentor. Dineo is originally from Rustenburg in Tlhabane and currently resides in Pretoria. This amazing author has background in Informational Technology with 8 years+ experience in the IT industry. Her entrepreneurship journey commenced in 2015 after she saw the need to invest in human capital and creating a powerful, good quality human legacy. She does this through training, development, mentorship and writing books.
Please share the book TITLE - when did you commence with writing it and what inspired you to go for it? “I have written two books so far: A New Becoming – A Guide To Personal Transformation and the name of my latest book is Becoming A Prophetic Author – A practical guide to write and self-publish a Prophetic book". I started my writing journey in 2014 but only managed to release my first book in 2019. What really inspired me to write books is the problems I experienced either as a woman, an entrepreneur or an aspiring author. I write to solve people’s problems. For instance, Becoming A Prophetic Author is a book I desired to read before I wrote my first book but could never find. So I decided to write it. That’s what writing is about. It’s about identifying and solving your own problems, which in most cases are potentially other people’s problems. That’s why I write books”.
What kind of challenges you faced when you started writing it and prior publishing – was it easy to fund it? “Before I write any book, I put my ducks in a row and calculate the cost of writing it. It’s more like project management. That’s why I don’t struggle with writing or funding my books. This prior planning has tremendously helped me accelerate my writing journey as well as enhance my writing and publishing experience. The main challenge when it comes to writing a book, which is common among many seasoned and prolific writers is self-doubt. Man, it’s a battle to fight that one but somehow by God’s grace I have managed to work through it and overcome it”.
Please share with us what the book is the about? “Becoming A Prophetic Book is a tried and tested book writing and self-publishing model. It teaches aspiring authors who have prophetic messages to share with the world, or solutions to the world’s problems how to write and self-publish their books. It gives them a solid and practical self-publishing framework. In a world that has become extremely noisy, where the Voice of God is almost drowned by this noise, we need to hear more and more prophetic voices which carry the message and heart of God for the people. It’s about time we hear and listen to God speak to us as nations. It’s about time we seek for solutions from God to solve the problems of this world. It’s about time we allow God’s Voice to be the loudest Voice in our lives”.
Lastly, when not pushing and talking your book, what else do you do? “I serve as the Founder and CEO of Shedding Light – an inimitable human and organization development company that offers customer-centric transformational services. We offer personal leadership and mastery training services. I also run a yearly mentorship programme for female entrepreneurs with specialty in personal and business mastery. I also do fun things such as taking ethereal morning walks with the Holy Spirit, spend time with family and travel.”
